Frances Jones was born on January 29, 1946 in Vance County, NC to the loving parents of Joseph B. & Mattie B. Jones. Frances gave her life to Christ at an early age. Frances gained her heavenly wings on February 25, 2025 at St. Mary Health Care Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Frances was raised & educated in Vance County but later moved to Worcester, Mass. 55 years ago. Our beloved Frances's favorite food was chicken. She enjoyed listening to songs by Slim & the Supreme Angels and The Mighty Clouds of Joy. Even though Frances was mostly a "homebody". She enjoyed playing spades & visiting casinos. Frances enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, especially her nieces: Sheila & Renee Vaughn and "nephew" Moses Williams. Frances also enjoyed long conversations with her niece Tanya Gladden.

Frances leaves to cherish her memories, her only daughter: Lisa Jones of Henderson, NC: her son Gerald Jones, (preceded her in death). She also leaves behind her only grandson, Trenell Williams of Worcester, MA &  great granddaughter, Zamora Williams of Illinois. In addition, she leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings, Josephine Henderson, Mildred Jones, Naomie Jones, Eddie Jones of Henderson, NC and Kattie Ruth Marrow of Durham, NC.
Frances was the 5th child of 15 children. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Johnnie, Mary, Raymond, Arthur, Helen, Teresa, Marie, Nancy & Jerry.
Our brave Frances, fought her health challenges with strength & determination and remained positive, always telling her daughter Lisa, "I'll be alright". She didn't give up on her will to live.
